School of Rock might not do as good as everyone thinks. Intertops has great odds on this one as well. I might hit under 17 million. I just don't think the man is that popular. Don't get me wrong, I like him, but girls don't, and a few buddies from work think the trailer is gay looking. Plus, I heard the movie is good, but it's NOT funny,
yeah, I don't know, it seems like there was a lot more buzz for the Rundown, and that one only managed 18... I think the under is the play here, but thinking back to Bruce Almighty I'm not certain about this pick. Not that it's going to make 70 million, but there might be a lot of demand for comedy right now... while the action market has been over-saturated for months.
so now they update it and it's at #4! wtf. Perhaps people are checking for tomorrows times tonight and they update the list regularly, it wasn't on the chart earier tonight. anyways 15 is pretty damn low for a Denzel flick... #4 isn't that high either however, while School of Rock is now #1. Of course this chart is usually completely unreliable.
